Asus P5N32-E SLi nVidia nForce 680i Chipset Motherboard *MODIFIED*

This motherboard is capable of hitting at least 3.6GHz (upto 4GHz) on air on C2D and C2Q processors with the proper cooling. The problem with the board in stock form is the northbridge and southbridge tend to get hot. The stock heatpipes do nothing for cooling and are made to be aesthetically pleasing... they aren't even made out of real copper. I replaced the stock northbridge and southbridge heatsinks with ACTIVE coolers. This means these new heatsinks come equipped with fans to move air through them. These Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II heatsinks are made out of real copper and remove heat fast and efficiently while staying very quiet. Arctic Silver Ceramique was applied to both chipsets and the heatsinks were applied professionally.

This motherboard is GUARANTEED TO WORK as it has NEVER been used or installed in a computer!

This is a picture of my other ASUS P5N32-E motherboard with the SAME modifications. This picture shows that large cpu heatsinks and large graphics cards will fit properly! This setup on a q6600 reached 3.96GHz STABLE on AIR COOLING!

*NOTE- LARGE CPU heatsinks, such as the Tuniq Tower 120, will fit 100% properly with the northbridge cooler installed!
*NOTE* - LARGE graphics cards, such as the 2-slot nVidia 8800GTS, will fit 100% properly with the southbridge cooler installed!

PRICE: $200
