Mazdaspeed is keeping actual mods underwrap until Tokyo Auto Salon so besides the exterior, rims, and interior, little is know to what upgrades they have done engine/drivetrain and suspension wise. I'll give it a 7 out of 10 till I see the full mazdaspeed specs. I will say it beats the Fit and the Xa IMO

i will put money on it that it will have the 1.5l mzr turbo motor!, a minime of the ms3 2.3Mzr. the 2 "was" supposed to come to the US.. i guess it wont..:(

yea if they use the 1.5 mzr turbo that car will haul especially if they do make it awd, which i do see its got the automatic and the awd setup that mazda uses right now is auto so one can only hope

there were some mazdaspeed rx8s but they were limited and only available in japan, there have been rumors circulating all year about a 2008-2009 mazdaspeed rx8 but i highly doubt they are going to release one, just for the simple fact according to multiple sources 2009 will probably be the last year for the rx8 as they will be bringing back the rx7 in 2010 (this is not official from mazda but they have admitted to playing with concepts and tinkering with multiple ideas and most magazine sources are calling the rx7 so i expect a new rotory platform will be out soon).

I know there is a Mazdaspeed cx-7 concept out there as well, it was shown in this years sema show:

I always loved the Mazda Speed 6. It looks badassed. I aways wished that it had a SC 6 instead of the Turbo 4 though. The new Miata looks badassed as well. Retractable hard top FTMFW!!!!!!!
