so theres these 10 year old bumper stickers...

on my cars rear bumper. they are so old they have basically turned to solid plastic and all the adhesive on the back has driedout. anybody know a way to get them off without destroying whats left of my already ****ty paint?

try a heat gun, dont know if it will help with dried out adhesive, but if it does it will help to get them off easier. dont know if it wil work on bumpers, but alot of detail places at dealor ships have like a plastic razor they used to get decals and all that off cars with heat guns

Get tint remover spray, it works on that kinda stuff great...

hes talking bout the air eraser wheel,used to remove pinstripes,double sided tape,anything adhesive stuck on the car.usually done before it gets repainted. BUT if you use it on a white car it leaves a yellow stain,since the wheel is yellow ruber.

i know 3M makes and adhesive and glue remover that works amazing on just about any type of glue and such. It even says that it can be used on cars on the can. kinda expensive but we use it at work all the time.

wal mart boat section they have sticker off spray to remove old faded boat decals. and try a hair dryer if you dont have a heat gun to heat the stickers up.

you can always gets a sander/buffer add on for any drill at lowes or hone depot, then just sand it down and then use the buffer and Mequiars polish to polish the scratches out, the paint will look brand new, actually if your paint it that ****tty then wet sand your whole car down and then buff it back and it will looks brand new(if you have a clearcoat)
