I just got a Ram 1500 and was wondering how the Hemi would hold up with a lil boost. :goodjob:

should make good power it's a nice closed deck block and it's stong but due to the design of the head boost would have to be kept at a moderate level on pump gas
I have a 04 Ram 1500 Crew cab with a Hemi in it. 5.7 Wouldnt mind adding a lil more ass to it. You guys got some ideas.
Oh I dont have to have a ton of boost. Its my daily driver and low bost would be fine.

i got my cummins up to 72lbs when the new owner was test driving it, i have a very close friend who had a fully built hemi in his 03 i think it was, hella quick and it was a 4 door, i can hook you up with him for advice as far as the heads go, he works for dodge and could probably cut you a deal. how effective would boost be VS putting the money to nitrous/ heads/ intake/ exhaust etc just some minor engine mods

If its a hemi, build it NA. Ive seen numerous guys with single cab Hemis with just a few mods (intake exhaust tune) run crazy numbers on the 1/4.

Screw kenne bell. If you got the money to boost it go with one of these.

I gaurantee that remote mount turbo setup will pwn a kenne bell supercharger setup, plus kenne bell doesn't even have a production supercharger setup for the HEMI Ram yet. Even if they did I bet the STS setup will cost less than the kenne bell and give you more power. The don't list the price on the website anymore, but they used to run about 4 grand.
If you don't wanna go boost, intake/exhaust/headers with some nitrous and one of those power commanders and I bet you could get up to around 500 crank hp. One of my buddies has a 2003 hemi with just an exhaust and a power commander and he pwns everybody at the track.
Hell, you won't even need nitrous to get 500 crank hp. I don't know what I was thinking. Those Power commanders can get you like 50-75 hp by itself with those other bolt ons I listed.
