1992 Black Lexus Sc300 5speed 101k miles

Im not real sure I wanna do this yet, but Im going to go ahead and try it. I just got this Lexus from a guy named Mike here on the forums. The car is extremely clean for a 1992 and has a lot of potential. I bought this car to build to make it my street car/weekend car.

The car is a 1992 Lexus SC300 black with tan interior. It is also a 5speed which are getting more and more rare. The paint on the car is in really good shape for being a 15 year old car. The car comes with a clean title in hand.

The only reason I am considering selling is because I dont really have the time to work on this car and my civic and work. So I figure I would just try and put it up and see what I could get out of it. I wouldnt mind freeing up some cash by getting rid of the Lexus, even though I hate to do it, I may have to.


The car DOES NOT RUN. The car has great compression and we can do a compression test when you come and check out the car to prove. I was going to go with the FSM intake manifold, so the stock one is not there. I have not yet purchased the FSM one so there is no intake manifold.

It use to be turbo but not anymore, and it's already tapped for an oil line. :goodjob: Seen this car in person and it is CLEAN!!! BUMP!

hmmmmmmmmm, id like to buy it, but thats a little steep considering it doesnt run.

Id trade the silvia for it but you would have to add $4000-4500 in cash.

TO my knowledge the car needs, stock intake manifold (whcih i did away with since i bought a FSM intake manifold) and stock exhaust, which i did away with because obviously I bought a turbo manifold.

But im not going to sell it unless I get a GOOD cash offer

Oh ok i misread it, it doesnt run cause its missing the intake manifold, i thought you meant it doesnt run like it has a blown motor.

Thats the cleanest SC ive seen, im sure if it ran its worth $7000

Thanks Mike, that post wasnt exactly directed toward you, Im sure we could possibly work something out, but Im really not sure what i want to do yet. For a 92 the car is EXTREMELY clean, and Im not sure I wanna pass up the chance to build a car like this
