View Full Version : BMW MOTOGP/SUPERBIKE...its about time!

Over the past 4 years, stories have risen about a future motogp and possible wsk from BMW. Photoshops, concepts, prototypes, all talk but nothing concrete. Here are some pics of different bikes seen around. I think the issue is the position of BMW's boxer setup. If they were to try a more coventional v2 or i4, they would be able to build a bike that can knee drag without scraping the head off!

HP2 Sport (still a boxer~obviously)

You can see this bike has either a conventional setup or the boxer that is horizontally opposed (less likely)

there are videos of it on youtube semms pretty cool but the price tag is crazy. $29,000

#1. its a test mule.
#2. its not supposed to look like the final version.
#3. we'll be lucky to call it ugly because bmw is not talking if they'll even make it.

I've been to several boxer cup races. Those BMW's are slow. They will not be able to produce a bike with enough hp to compete.
