OKAY MATT: UPDATE THE FIRST POST WITH THIS.

Exit 4 on 985 is where we will meet.
If you are coming from ATL and heading north, its a right off the exit and then a left near the Golden Corral. If you are heading south, its a left on the exit. If you hit Mall Of GA Honda, you have gone to far. Same thing coming from Mall of GA (85, i believe it is exit 111 or 113) you have to soon make a right after Mall of GA Honda. If you hit Sattelite Blvd (QT on left), you have gone too far. These directions take you to the walmart.


BE THERE AT 8:45 Sharp and we will go over the rules, find who the most experienced drivers are and get a running order for the mtn. We will role out by 9:05 and be reaching exit 24 around 9:35ish. I will call whoever anyone who wants me to let them know we are heading their way if you PM me your number, or call me, my name is 678 938 8443 and the name is Mehul (Silver Prelude).

I want to be in middle/frontish depending on the order. i dont want to be in the back or going to slow. We need to make up a decision on the yielding of slower drivers in two lane, etc.

Also what time are we planning on ending. I know it will be up to the drivers, but what is the time most of you will leave. Banana I know has said he has to go to work so, who else is leaving early/ish.

ok. im almost done with everything i had to do. i figured i check in to see whats going on before bleeding the brakes.

So the event is 100% going down. just like BannanaFTW said, be there at 8:45 SHARP. we will be in the back of the lot. Please if u can, bring a walkie/radio with u. (extras if u have them.) we will follow each other up there in no order but when we get there please get in a group.i think we need to have a group of experienced, a average, and a first time group so we can all go at our own pace. also, i would like everyone to be aware that the roads my have wet spots when we get there so take ur time. this isnt a race its a mtn drive.

everyone check ur oil, trans, diff, and tires. i really dont want to have to give someone a ride back because of a failure they could have prevented.

ALso another good thing guys if youre prone to filling your tires to max, check them again when we get in the mountains and let a little air ou as to what you see fit. Elevation rise makes your psi in the tires go up, so make sure you dont take a chance of blowing a tire.

Weather should be decent so far no showers here in gillsville, and fox5 says it shouldnt rain for the most part in north ga today, most of the rainfall is oging to be to our south, around atlanta, macon, athens, ect. This was from their website.

The way up blew, but when we actually got to the mountain it was amazing. Running blood mtn in the rain=lesson in car control you will never forget.
