So I hear Haitians can bring people back from the dead

I was talking to a chick from Miami who says so. She says Haitians have some type of black magic or something that brings people back from the dead. So I told her to tell them to bring back my uncle because he owes me $25. :goodjob:

No but seriously thats so damn obscure and ****ed up it sounds just like some Haitians smoking some powerful gunja and digging up a grave. She told me she saw a video where they did a whole bunch of vooddoo **** to a dead body, showed his death certs, and dude started breathing and got up and walked around. Creepy ****. Anybody ever heard of anything like this? Sounds like some bull**** but if its true maybe they can bring back tupac & biggie. :goodjob:

it's true and back in the 90's america sent a few experts/doctors to try and do chemical test to prove voodoo wrong and they failed to come up with any conclusion and packed up there bags and left.......

my great grandmas as well as some of my aunts practiced it.....i eventually want to learn more about it once i go to haiti

i read about that sh*t in the Zombie Survival guide by max brooks. it's like where the voodoo guys put a powder on you and it makes you look dead, but several days later you come back to life (out of your coma) and act like a zombie. creepy shiznit.

They arent really dead though, They have some kind of powder that slows down your heart, breathing, etc to make it appear you are dead and when it wears off you get up and just walk off, but if the wrong doasge is given, You will not get back up, or wake up.

It is BS IMO.... the process is called like "zombification"... what they do is supposedly put some sort of powder (made from puffer fish toxins) it puts the body in a wierd trance ... etc and supposedly they control the body using "magic"...

There was a pretty famous one about some guy named like Clairivus Narsicuss or something I can't remember this was a long time ago. Who was on like the history channel, they confirmed his death certificate and supposedly while they interviewed him he had no pulse. I figured if this claim was true, it'd be alllll over the news, and waaay better sourced, but its hard to even find sources on it.

But yeah they tried to completely debunk the idea... and came back instead of saying that it was impossible, saying it was highly unlikely that someone could refine the puffer fish and all the random ingredients into a non-lethal "medicine" to zombify or enslave someone. Supposedly people got this sh!t done to them as a punishment for a crime, or kidnapped to work on a plantation as a zombie slave. They pretty much said its POSSIBLE, but HIGHLY unlikely.

But a History teacher in HS also talked about it and some other sh!t- was convinced it was either true or at least possible... which got me semi-interested in it.
