My b*t*h after the wreck..

Saturday was a sad day for the EJ.. She is still driveable but im lookin to get another one.. Some may say its fixable but the car will never be the same.. the driverside of the radiator support is not 5ins or so from the motor, the hood cant open and the car has a funny vibration while driving.. pics do no justice because they were taken from my phone about 30mins after the accident..

i was pretty ****ty actually.. i was on East West connector on my way to work.. I had just turned off of Austell road heading in Cumberland, i was in the left lane across the street from the old Home Depot going about 45-50mph behind a car just to switching to the right lane the pass the car when a white GT2 Porsche came out of the strip mall by Borders and said **** the merge lane and decided to go straight into the lane i was in.. I have no idea if dude was seeing me or what because i was at his quarter panel and he was coming over on my so i pulled left, as soon as i pulled left my back bumper bumper hit the front of the car i had just passed and sent me sliding to the left in the direction of the turn lane where cars were stoped on the light. In an effort to avoid hitting those cars i tap the brake and swung the steering wheel to the right, upon doing that my car then spun around and was now sliding down EW sideways at an angle facing Borders i swung the steering wheel back to the left with my foot on the brake but the car stayed sideways and hit the curb outside of the strip mall and came to a stop on Woodward rd about a foot away from a car in the turn lane..

Witnesses should have confirmed your story. That's BS! I hate **** like that. I have been in that situation. Here is what you should done as soon as ur bumber clipped the other car...

- turn the radio on to 101.5 (rascal flatts is great crash music)
- apply left blinker
- open sunroof (if no sunroof, use trunk-pop lever)
- steer into the slide (u did that already - check)
- drop 2 gears
- adjust side view mirrors (both sides)
- RE-adjust pax side b/c u did it wrong
- apply chapstick (in rear view mirror)
- clutch-kick
- 90% throttle

THAT would have kept u outta trouble. That's what I do.

i have been in the situation twice. the first time I swerved outta the way and hit another car...got a ticket for failure to maintain lane.... the second time I said **** it and rammed the hell outta the other car.... i got a ticket for following too closely. It's a catch 22. Now I just do whatever it takes to stay alive. I am just glad Khris is okay. like it's good to make light of the situation but seriously, it sucks ass that it had to happen.
