i have a civic DX and i dont want a big ass tach on my dash, that is just not my thing. I was wondering if there is anyway for a EX or SI gauge pod to hook up in my car. if i put it in will the tach just plug in or is there a way i will have to wire it up?
thanks,
what's your car's year... make.... model? If you drive a honda civic then yes, you find a cluster with tach that will mount right up in your dash, it's plug and play.

it is a 99. so you are saying that it is pre-wired, so there should be a plug-in the back aready there b/c as of now the stock cluster has no tach.
the wire is there in the bundle, but there is no "male" pin to match up with it in your cluster.
right, find an EX cluster

me neither...that's why i went w/ the 2 5/8 size. i custom installed it in the center of my 2 gauge bezel so now it's a 2 gauge. egt to the left, tach center, boost right and stock behind easily readable.
