i need help

i have a 94 eg sedan with a mini me swap and it started actin up the about 1 week ago but wasn't throwin a code then it threw a tps code two days ago i changed the tps and now it want's to idle at 1800-2000 rpms can any body give me a idea of what to check??????????????????????????????:thinking:

yeah that dont do anything the screw is run all the way in and the fitv is not the problem

Well, the first thing you want to check for is:

1. Vacuum Leak. Sometimes it can be difficult to locate the broke hoses, Check the rubber hoses that connect directly to the intake manifold. Well, the best way to do this remove a vacuum line and block its passage with a finger. If the idle drops down, then you have found your problem. Also check the gasket between the intake manifold, and the air ducts between the throttle and the manifold it'self, you may have issues on the intake manifold gasket as well.
2. Check if the throttle is completely released.

make sure to calibrate the tps after installing it. check for vac leaks.

Scotty is right. Get a multimeter and calibrate it. you usually cant just throw on a tps and it runs right.

i know that and it is set right and i cant find a vac leak

ok now it is like spittin back and some times it will like moan then die and it aint throwin any codes the tps is calibrated and the ing is set right anybody got any ideas

i hope you get this situated....does the TPS work correctly that you put in?

yeah it does now it will star up and idle at about 2600 and fall to 2000 when warm but mean while it is like stumblein and will die u have to let it set for a few min. then crank it back up cause it will not stay runnin if u crank it rite up after it dies
