No, i don't skateboard, but i'm thinking about buying a friend a skateboard for christmas. anybody have any good suggestions? i was also wondering if you could customize the bottom too by getting it painted with a picture?

Skateboarding = Becoming one of the "cool" kids. lol. Bucky is going to do the painting for me so i have that covered. Any suggestions on what board? and the other stuff? i know nothing about skatingboarding also.

think its the other way, suicidle, school shooting, self multilazing emo punks try to skateboard to fit in. i was skateboarding for 6 years, and i was far from anything emo/punk/stoner and whatever else people stereotype skateboarders as all the time. skateboarding = bad knees, and ankles



as for the question i know some places can do custom painting, wont be some skateboard place would be like a screen printing place. just call around to screen printing places (or other printing places) and ask them what they can do. as for boards are you getting a whole board or just the deck? either way ide just get a blank deck mini logo's are good boards and cheaper price. i used to only buy boards with graphics cause i thought the blank decks were cheap made brands, but once i switched i liked them a lot more than any other board.

back when i was skating the stuff everyone always wanted was

- lucky bearings - abec 7, if they have higher now get that

- tensor trucks

- spitfire wheels - i think it was the sizes 53mm+ is good for vert ramp skating, 53mm- street skating, its been 2 years though so not sure

- spacers - get any 1/8 spacers, help stop pressure cracks on the deck with the trucks hardware

- grip tape - jessup

- deck - mini logo

what he said, deck is just the wood part, board is the whole thing. you can buy them complete, best bet for a complete would be to goto a skateshop and just tell them what you want, if they dont have it have them recommend something, and most of the time they will build the board on the spot for you.

common sense? all it took was facts to know it was wrong, i skated long enough to know there is nothing emo about skating. you dont see any emo kids on the xgames.

i use to skateboard, i still do on and off. And no u cant get the bottom customized. unless u buy a blank and take it some where that does graphics...
