Anyone with a shop need helpers around? Im 16 and trying to gain some more car knowledge and a little extra money.

probably wont get a job, dont need a shop job to get knowledge, all you need is a few friends that work on cars alot. thats how i learned.

People aren't going to pay to teach you things. It would be nice if it worked that way, but if it did there would be tons of people in line for that job.

As for experience, read online diy's and then do it. Then apply for a part time job at a restaurant or something.

Not true. But u have to earn it. Stop by shops - talk to them. Wear some dirty clothes - help out (for free). Man shops are open later than advertised wrenching. You'll start out gettin' ur dinner bought by the guys - prove ur not an idiot and you may even get to answer phones - or work weekends - or make parts store runs. Next thing u know - ur MIke, and you are answering phones at BG -------- and that's where the big bux start rolling in.

Obviously if people can't read and follow simple rules for joining, then looking at thread dates before posting in them is WAY beyond their ability....(not talking about anything in this thread)

actually if an underage person agrees to join this site, they are committing fruad by saying that they are older than 18 which is a requirement to join this site! so ther fore hes 16 and not 18 that means he lies that means he gets he boot until hes 18 which is when the ban lifts!
