Car has been at Mainstream for a few weeks letting them hack away at it so here ya go...
- BR Dual valve springs and retainers
- HKS 264/272 Cams
- ETS 3" FMIC
- Greddy Profec B Spec II
- RC 750cc injectors
- Greddy T-67 turbo kit
- Walbro fuel pump
- 3" Turbo back exhaust
- HKS SSQV
I had the car tuned at Dyno4mance in Calhoun, GA
Let me just say that I am VERY, VERY impressed with the tune! The car runs like a dream and at WOT it pulls hard all the way to the rev limiter. Stand up guys at Dyno4mance and I just want to say thanks again to them for the awsome tune!
These runs were made on 22psi and 93 octane...
Full boost comes a little after 5k but comes on strong!
Andrew said these numbers a little lower then the real power it makes by about 15%
The car made 348.7 to the wheels on his dyno (equivalent to 401 awhp on Dynojet)
The car made 441.1 HP to the flywheel (about 507 HP on a Dynojet)
Sorry not many pics today because I cant find my camera but heres one I took with my phone from the shop. I'll get some vids up soon too...:goodjob:

I am very happy with the numbers it made for the few mods that I have. Thanks again to Dyno4mance and Mainstream for the awsome work!!! Special thanks to Rob for driving back to help me put my coupler back on after he left the shop on his way to Tennessee. ( I have some gas money for ya:goodjob: )
More mods to come later on after I finish the second semester of school.:ninja:

Nice man, don't belive everything they tell you about their low reading dyno, my car made the same power on their dyno as it did on Batlgrounds dynojet.

yeah lol... what about them?
You made 348 on a t67 thats whats funny. And IF you are correct about what that should be on a dyno jet thats still low. 400whp can be achieved on stock turbo pump and meth and a 30r can make 400whp on just pump. A t67 should make 500 on pump.

Yeah your correct... With more mods and more boost.
I'm still on the stock clutch. I don't want anything over 400 whp until I get a clutch that can handle it. He said he could push it a lot more but I didn't want it. Rob can vouch for me on that. thanks for your input tho!

Your setup is confusing and the numbers seem low, even for a mustang dyno.

i was wondering about those numbers as well. ive got a buddy that put down 347 on pump gas with 272's, FMIC, GReddy E-Manage, Full Exh., Gears, stock block, and stock turbo.

Or just pay $50 an do 3 pulls on our dyno to see the difference.
Dynoformance is KNOWN for having the "heart breaker". I had friends with Scoobys an DSMs get tuned their YEARS ago that made 30-50whp less than "comparable" cars.
A dyno is just a measuring stick.
If it feels good on the street, then leave it alone. Numbers are numbers. Now if it makes the same numbers on a dynojet, id be slightly concerned, because based on evos we have done, those are pretty low, but again, its hard to measure on 2 differeent dynos.
James knows if you take a stock B16 on THEIR dynojet it makes 130whp, take it to SOG on their Dynapck itll make 170whp.
Now does that means it got faster? NO, it means your comparing apples to oranges. One measuring stick is calibrated differently than the other.
So , in closing, enjoy it, if you want to see what it makes on an AWD Dynojet, we have one, Topspeed has one.
Cheers

BTW, We have a customer that dynoed with a similar turbo, and it made 630 at 35psi.(he has 272s)
Those turbos are pretty laggy, and dont make the peak power people claim. His old 35R made 640 at 32psi for reference.
If your off, your not THAT far off. IMHO
that car should make around 400whp at 20psi. ill let you know when my dyno is free an you can see what it makes on a dynojet.
Thats also ALOT of boost at 93 octane. it might be an ultra conservative tune because of that.

Totally diffrent turbo mike, the t67 this guy has is a 25g turbo The 67 on the other car is a true 67mm wheel

12-10-2007, 11:02 PM
I am sure that turbo is a piece of ****, but buy you a Divided T4 Bullseye power s366 with a 1.xx AR exhaust housing and make more power and spool the same as ANY BB turbo of its size, and its a little more than a grand. Or get you a Garrett, but Borg Warner is on top of their game and for a lot less money.

very true it tis a 25g

My guess would be around 380whp on our dynojet from what I have seen. Thats still seems a bit low for running so much boost.
