Donald Trump, The real-estate mogul left a $10,000 tip on an $82.27 bill Monday at a restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif., Derober.com reports.

Billy D., a waiter at the Buffalo Club, got the gargantuan tip after the Donald complimented him on his dinner service, Derober.com reported. Trump and a colleague had dined on pasta and soup with cappuccinos for dessert.

“What’s the biggest tip you ever got?” Trump reportedly asked Billy.

“Jerry Bruckheimer comes in a lot," Billy responded. "He tipped me $500 on a $1,000 check once.”

“You’re very good at your job," Trump then told the waiter.

That is pretty funny. My uncle is a really well known ski instructor in Telluride, Colorado. He had the marvelous opportunity to give ski lessons to Ivana Trump. His tip? ZERO.

I got $300 from an old couple dressed in ratty clothes. Their total bill was around $16. I even ran after them in the parking lot 'cause I thought they might have made a mistake and meant to give me $3. They said nope, they meant to do it, and got into their rusty 80-ish Ford LTD and drove off.

The biggest tip that I received was when I was working at Bailey's Sport Bar and Grill during college. It was a party of 30, the bill was a little over 300 and I was left 150. That didn't include the gratuity. Not only that but then all the non paying guests of the party pooled together and left another 100 in cash.

Sad thing is, he probably didn't get to keep the whole thing. He has to tip out the bus boy and the bartender, whom probably would kill that guy if he didn't give them both 1,000 each because they waited on that table too. Plus if its a fancy restaurant there is also an assistant waiter. So he probably got 5g's and split the rest, but still, a monster tip.

Biggest tip I ever heard of was when I was working valet in Las Vegas. Supposedly Mike Tyson came into Valet in his Lambo. Told the guy he could keep it.

Mike Tyson also had a Bentley that broke down on him so he just left it on the side of the road and never picked it up again lol.

I actually drove Mike Tysons Maybach and that **** is soooo nice, he is a crazy looking mother****er that you dont wanna mess with, but he seemed like he was on his best behavior that day.

Biggest tip I ever got was 500$ from Eric Lindgren (Professional Poker Player) during the 2006 WSOP. He got word that Chip Reese gave us 100$ and then Phil Ivey gave us 200$ and Mike Matasow gave us 300$ so he had to outdo them all and tip up 500 haha, yea that was a very good day. All I have to say is working valet during the WSOP is probably the best month of tips.

EDIT: I just realised it was just a lunch, so he probably did get to keep the whole thing GOD DAMN!

when i was like 16 i worked at Kroger and a lady gave me 20 bucks just for bringing her 2 bags to her car..
But i never really worked at a place i could get tips since then, But when i worked at lexus doing paint people used to give us a couple bucks, a Case of beer, But this one guy gave us a little cooler of food with different chicken things like wings, Cordon bleu (sp) and i got one home and opened it up and it was COVERED in green mold! I guess there was a reason he was giving it away.. lol

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

this is a pretty funny story...

my step mother is pretty old school.. grew up in north ga and of course in the time when a penny could buy you a meal...

anyways... we go to a local grocery store (i sat in the car) and when she finishes she comes out... bag boy ends up being a really good friend of mine.... we chat for a sec.. he starts to go back in and she says "hold on, got a tip for ya"

so he waits.... and she rips out a nice shiney efing quarter... most embarrasing thing ever... a quarter for a tip is more of an insult than not giving one at all!!

cool thing was is he just laughed it off next day at school....

not the biggest, but the worst. Never worked as a server or bartender, but did manage a bakery once. We got a $1k wedding cake order we had to deliver to a wedding in agusta. I drove from decatur to Augsta with our backer back of the SUV holding it down lol. We got there....not a dolla tip. Indians are stingy as fook...even if they are baller status.

The most I've made off 1 person when I was waiting was like $50 or $60. But I waited on parties where I made over $100 pretty often.

I worked a table last saturday that made me 80bucks on 150 or so ticket... good times...
I've been in the resturant business over 4 years and I am now getting to work with some pretty high profile characters in the industry. such as this one: http://www.blaiscuisine.com/ he's been on Iron cheif America ect ect... He was telling me the other day, that back when he was first getting started, he was invloved in the cooking for the prince of Dubi where the wiater recieved a $50,000 USD tip for his work...

Crazy to say the least... that was by far the largest tip ammount that I (or himself) had ever heard of or seen... Fake or real...you think Trump has cash.... try some of those guys in the middle east. it's inasne...
