The Black Panther Party (originally called the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense) was an African American organization founded to promote civil rights and self-defense. It was active within the United States in the late 1960s into the 1970s.


^^ if that was their intention, what happened was very wrong, but if they were radicals, then i dont feel bad.

Nice selective quoting, now keep reading in that article, maybe then will see what the black panthers became a short time after their beginning. For you to suggest that the BPP still exists as it originally did (for an extremely short time) is foolish.

You know what? I'm sick of poeple of any color forming any kind of group that signifies what color they are. This is why racism doesn't go away. The black panthers don't need to be a group unless its to discuss the dangers of sickle cell (a predominately African inherited disease). Any group that unites in recognition of skin color IS racism. It's disgusting and it needs to stop. Who cares what color you are STFU.
