RUMOR: NISSAN GT-R TO GRAND AM SERIES (http://www.c16mag.com/pittalk_item.aspx?cid=2211)

I want to see it run in ALMS against Corvette. Number them #83 and #84! True sports car racing fans will know what I mean. :goodjob:

From the 80's and 90's in the IMSA Camel GT Series. Nissan dominated.

wouldnt it be better to number them after the 300ZX cars they used to run in IMSA? (#75 and #76) Afterall its more on the lines of that then a Prototype car...

considering the ALMS corvettes were #3 & #4... It would be like saying the GTR ATE 3 & ATE 4.

GTR ate the corvettes... get it now?


Pretty sweet. hope to see it in ALMS... but doubt it.

Interesting, but who knows? Skylines were supposed to be racing SPEED WC a few years back as well and never did.

I remember when the R34 was being tested and getting dominated, don't remember which US series it was though.

Sorry but you just cant beat the corvettes. The Aston Martins gave them a pretty good run but just couldnt keep up. BTW, that part of the ALMS series will be changing pretty soon but thats all I can say.

They brought the R34 into the SWC GT series but were wayyy off the pace.

Who wants to fund me for Sebring speaking of ALMS? lol.

Yeah I dont think the Skyline could ever run the Vette. Chevy has a lot of history with their cars and reliability to back it all up.
