Welp, added to the collection again. I had never built a lower reciever before, and yesterday at the gun show there was some AWESOME prices on ar parts. So i bougt a DMPS lower and parts kit for 190. Then got an upper and bolt for 450. and a magpul stock and 2 mags for 130. So $770 for a nice ar...anyways here are some pictures.

Thats not bad to be into an AR brand new. Theres so much cool **** you can ad on to. You might want to switch out the expendable stock for the regular one. The regular ones have a recoil spring built in that you can barely feel the recoil or kick of the gun. My SKS kicks like a mother, the AR with the spring inside feels like a 22 compared.

It's basically the same as an M4, 'cept non-full auto.

Here is mine along with my AK-47 and Glock 23:

Judging by the overall gun length compared to the penny, I'd say he has a high quality rifle. Now if the barrel was just 2/3 of a penny shorter, it would be a different story.

ic.. never really looked into the thickness of rhino skin. i'm hoping to avoid confrontation with rhinos though so hopefully i won't have to worry about that.

See, that's your first mistake. Now if a rhino breaks out of the zoo, and knows that you've been sleeping with his girl while he's been locked up, and wants to use his horn as a big spiky dildo on you, now you won't know what kind of gun to use to protect yourself. It's shank or be shanked in todays fast paced world.

****. now that you put it that way, expect a PM from me. i need details regarding anti-rhino guns. i've got the zombie **** down though, all you need is a sawed-off shotgun and a prosthetic chainsaw arm.

I just picked up a Sentry Safe this weekend - $369 at Home Depot, you can hardly beat that. It's not fire rated, but it's really nice.

After buying my AR-15 two months ago, I decided it was time to start looking for a safe.

The newest addition is on the top of the picture - Olympic Arms K40-GL carbine - it's got a dedicated lower receiver to accept Glock .40 cal magazines:

Again, Ruiner, props for the SLR-95, I'm still jealous!

Hey Brady, my bud was looking at that DPMS lower, he was going to buy it after going around one time, then came back and it was gone! I'll have to tell him it was you. :)

Yeah, I love the .40 cal and was wanting an AR-15 that shoots that. The downside (if it really is a downside) to the dedicated lower, is that the only other upper I can put on it is for the K9-GL by Oly Arms, which shoots the 9mm round. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go buy a whole 'nuther AR-15 to shoot .223. :)

I want to get an Eotec heads-up sight and the UTG quad-rail handguard, so that I can mount a front grip if I want and a flashlight.
