Got my new car put on the emissions dyno to see if it was even feasable to to try and make it pass smog legally. Here are the numbers we got.
HC ppm-162 (141 allowed)
CO%-3.15 (0.79 allowed)
NOxppm 1493 (1026 allowed)
Car has a bluebird SR20 with 3 inch. down pipe and 3 inch. catless all the way back. Greddy e-manage for fuel.
Are these numbers simply based on the fact that I am catless because the emissions guy seemed to think we could lean it out and take care of the HC/NO but that the CO was being caused by a faulty 02 sensor. I'm not throwing any codes, but is it possible that the sensor is out and thats what the issue is... Or would throwing a 3 inch. high flow cat on there be the only way to pass legally-ish.
