so I bought an iphone 2 weeks ago and bought my wife one last week. I'm already on my second iPhone and now both my wifes and my new iPhone are screwing up again. Back to the Apple store I go.

If you're thinking of getting one, wait for them to get all the bugs worked out. The 16g will be out shortly.

Could you describe "screwing up again"? Screwing up how? Its not turning on? or you cant get the wireless to work?

Could you describe "screwing up again"? Screwing up how? Its not turning on? or you cant get the wireless to work?

The first phone I purchased a couple weeks ago locked up on me in the middle of a call and wouldn't let me hang up or power off the phone. The phone began to ramdomly flip through the different options(youtube, text, ipod, etc...) for about 5 minutes.

The phone began to get REALLY hot and I decided to hold it in front of the AC in my truck to cool it down. Only when it cooled down I was able to turn the power off. Keep in mind, the phone was stuck on a call for 15 minutes while I tried to cool it off and the other person had already hung up.

Now, the second phone locked up on me as well and so did my wifes. At times it has full signal and won't let you make or recieve phone calls. You have to power it down and then back up again to be able to make a phone call.

It has some issues. This will be my 3rd iPhone in about 3 weeks and my wifes 2nd in 2 weeks.

Damn that is pretty crazy. Have you ran the firmware updates regularly? Sucks you had those problems with yours.

that sucks about your iphone... everybody that i've seen with one has said they love it! i guess you always get some bad with the good tho
