I have a 99' civic si and i want some HID's. I drive in the country alot so they would deffinately help out(I wanna see a deer before i actually hit him.lol.), Which HID company would you guys recommend? I dont wanna get some $hitty off brand kit off of ebay. Someone mentioned 6000k or 8000k is about what i need. Also, what K should i use? I dont wanna get pulled over all the time.

ok dude ill help u out!!! lol the brightest light that u can get is 4300k (which is all oem hids). i would recommend getting 4300k-6000k. anything over 6k, in my opinion, looks really cheap and also it would not be as bright. once u go over 6k, the road gets blue... and u can see sh!t.

and for the brand, i recommend mcculloch or phillips. i have mccullochs 6k hids on my integra and they're awesome. i dont have to worry about any small problems with them.

u can get them there :goodjob: hope it helps

and also, the color of the kits also varies with the brand of the hids. some brand hids has a little more or less blue tint to them

The best K would have to be either, 4k or 6k. We have acouple HID's sellers here, look around.

If you want the best visibility then go with the 4300K =OEM White or the 6000K=Diamond White but really with any temperature you chose its going to give you more visibility than a stock halogen
And are you going to want to keep your hi/low if so we offer two solutions Bi-Xenon or Retractable

+1

Philips and mcculloch have the best hids in the market. The best light is suppose to be 5300k, it is the whitest color, no yellow, green, or blue, but only offer through mcculloch. They are like 400-500.

if you want to get something from the ia sponsor, get 4300k or 6000k. 4300k will have the better sight, but have green and yellow in it. 6000k will have little blue, but little worse sight.

Shut up. He knows a lot more than you. Apparently including how to type.

READing MAKES LIFE EASIER. Try it, you'll see the 4300k put out the most lm (3200lm) while the 6k put out 2800lm. Since it seems like your a little too lazy to do the research.. I did it for you the 12k put out 2100lm. The more lm the better the visibility. The higher Ks are pretty much just more colorful and dont put out as many lms
