Gotta get new tires for my DD. Are there any problems with using Competition Track/AutoX tires on the roads and highways? My car wont ever see a track and I hardly do any spirited driving, but the tires are not too expensive ($59 a tire) and a good tire size that I want.
Any input is welcome. Thanks.

the only problem is treadlife, tire noise, and when it rains it will be a handful....when it really rains you're going to die... :lmao:

Eh, sounds like I should just get regular tires. Sliding around in the rain is fun and all, but track tires just dont sound too great... Thanks for the input.

where are you getting "competition" tires for $59? Let us in on the source... also, you probably won't even get them to operating temp on the street.

lol, 185/55-14's? shouldn't have to worry about hydroplaning, those don't have enough contact patch to do that ;)
