So does anyone run a jackson racing supercharger on an h22. I have heard about them but I dont really hear much about people actually using them. How good do they work?

The SC makes it a pretty fun street car. Good tq band but don't expect it to be super fast. We have done a few of them and I will check the dyno graphs when I get to the shop tommorow.

i have a jrsc on my lude. its a 2000 prelude. i think u will have to do some modification to get it to fit in a 4th gen. (firewall & space issues) i make 234 whp and 204wtq on stock internals and i/h/e and hondata s200. i've heard of people on preludeonline.com that have reached 15+ psi and over 300hp. the s/c are way more reliable than a turbo but dont exspect to have a sh*t load of power. low 14's to high 13 with my setup. pm me with any ?'s

mines turbo'd and makes 236whp and 226tq on break in, is 15lbs efficient as you can go with an SC?

its been done before however its not very safe. i only know of a few that have went over 12psi safely. search on preludeonline.com. that s/c gets hot real quick.

well my opinion is that if its not safe and and you could blow it and maybe more in your motor why would anyone want to throw there money away?

it can be done safely if you've got the money! if u dont want to spend the money to make sure u dont blow the shyt up the dont try to add more boost.

Believe me when I say this... Take only what Larry @ ENDYN says with a grain of salt. DO NOT waste your money on his JRSC mods.

DO IT. i'm runnin a procharger on my mustang. totally different but same concept. I love the S/C. you cant get as much boost out of a roots blower as u can a turbo. but it is very different. You can always build the bottom end to handle some nice spray w/ the F.I. :goodjob:

no turbo lag FTW

depends on application and what you are looking for. If your looking for easy bolt on boost w/ NO oil lines. And S/C works great. Espically a roots style. The roots style has not "turbo lag" and hit max PSI very quickly and holds that mount until you shift. True, with turbos you can put down a lot more power, but at a greater expense.

If you want just some nice bolt on boost, with only a few psi, a s/c would be fantastic.

i dont like the JRSC for the h22:

They are a pain in the ass to install. Everyone ive seen eats belts FAST. The make it nearly impossible to change your spark plugs without dissasembling the entire kit.

the list goes on an on.

Id rather boost it.

i dont see how it would make it hard to change the plugs? i started to have a problem with the charger eating up my belt all the time until i got gatorback belt! haven't had a prob since!

I don't get how a supercharger is any more reliable than a turbo factoring in a good install for both.
