Which a bunch of people do. I have seen numours occasions where mods have said it's not here just to make money. Now I see this ****?

People can get on IA and do whatever they wanna do. If all this guy wants to do is sell... then thats fine.

Is this a noob mod mistake?

Because that's not the point of IA. It's a privilege to sell, not to join and post **** just so you can all the time. Why can't they go elsewhere?

i think it's ok to use the marketplace to make money if that's what you're talking about, but i don't think it's right to advertise your business in your signature or a thread for free while other businesses pay for banners/forums etc.

This happened on another board I post on. There was rumors of the mods using the money donated for there own personal things. After that the whole staff was replaced. The whole situation was shady. But since we don't have to donate money on here does it matter? As long as it doesn't affect your personal use on the website.

Personally, I wouldn't care. Why? Because 98% of the people that post don't contribute anything to the forum anyways. Majority of the post are off topic and made in the whores lounge, and there's only a hand full of people that can say they contribute technical car support. Honestly, I dont really see this as a car forum anymore beside from the f/s and car pics section. This is more so an entertainment/recreational forum to me. So if you want to come just to sell stuff, I would be like be my guess as long as you paid your fees or met the requirements.

You mis-interpreted him. or at least i hope so.

The for sale forum is NOT FOR EVERYONE, it is NOT A RIGHT. Its a PRIVLEDGE.

Basically what i think chris is upset about, is the people that ask questions, and then DRONES of IA users negative rep the noobs and pretty much squash all hopes they have of posting in the for sale forum.

it is ok to use ia to make money if you are a valid member...

u don't sign up just to sell... or just try to meet the requirements then do nothing but sell....

i've done quite a bit of selling/buying on here... but i've also been a valid member...

depends.. if you are here trying to sell in bulks different story.

But long time established members always get the hook up.. from free selling to a few bucks a month, without the banners and the other perks bigger advertisers get.

regular members will get the hook up.

But if you are noob and all you want to do is sell.. cool.. pay 10 bucks and you are set. But cant sell in bulks. You can usually tell when they are small time vendors or flippers.

I doubt anyone is making money on here unless they are selling stolen goods. Everybody on here is a lowballer.

Yes it is. I've heard/read this on here more times than I can remember that people aren't supposed to be here for that. Later, QD.

if you have stuff to sell, why not...you might rarely ever need to post
