Anybody a connoisseur of wine. Just wanting some suggestions on some decent red wine or something. I would usually drink beer but some wine would be nice. Im open to suggestions.

wine is for ladies or rich folk man... drink a dark beer and be happy. or in my case... a daiquiri haha... i dont like the drinking and slurring and the hurling.

Depends on price range. Around $15 Robert Mondavi is pretty good. Around $20 I would say Peju Prevance (you have to order it from CA and its a mix of red and white). Go above that and I would say Cakebread cabernet or merlot (around $60).

i'm a bit fan of kenwood as well as penfolds. best bang for the buck though is 3 buck chuck :goodjob:

This isn't a red wine but I personally drink any kind of Reisling....It's not too dry and not very sweet at the same time...Good stuff, especially if you're not used to drinking wine.:goodjob:

don't know much about wine... BUT muscadine wine is freaking awesome... there is a place in helen that sells all differen't types of muscadine wine... niagra was really good if you go up that way...

try port wine. its really sweet but the alcohol content is higher. its a dessert wine

Thanks for the feedback everyone, i was really looking for a wine i could get a public or a package store whatever and not to expensive ($1-$30). Im completly lost when it comes to wine. I was at publix the other night in the wine section and i didn't even know where to start.

lol, i'm the same way... i know nothing about wine... except arbor mist... which i don't even think that counts!!!!

Yeah arbor mist is good but i feel like im drinking natural light lol. I want something more classy.
