They seem pretty out of place on a black BMW sedan, even if it is an M5.

The flames just do not compliment an M5. Flames, especially 'ghost' can be a beautiful way to accentuate your car (when done right) but when applied to an M5.....ehh......ummmm????

To be honest i would say acceptable due to the fact you can't tell they are there till you get close to the car. Then they are well done also.

Pre-Painting: I think the only appropriate way to compliment that car would be ghost flames. i mean they have a history of being classy and unique, so why not put them on a classy and unique 30,000 m5? i mean theres no way they could ruin the appearance of such a beautiful car...
During Painting: oh geez i havent done these in a while
Post-Painting: damn this was an awful idea... oh well, just put it on eBay

Flames? no-no, I personally couldn't live past them, it would be a sore spot that would stick out everytime i looked at the car! There are plenty of m5's out there, keep looking.
That interior is pretty nasty too, i hate the cinimen color on 5 series.... My friend has the red on black on his 03, its hot!

i like ghost flames sometimes, but they need to a) be tastefully done and b) be on the right car. This bimmer's flames has neither a or b. I agree with bballjamal... leave flames to hotrods and bikes :goodjob:
