How much and how to torque 3/8 ARP 2000 rod bolts on eagle rods for B18b/a

ive always torqued them to factory specs in a back and forth type way.

i dunno with arp head bolts they tell u to torque it to their spec so im guess rod boltshave there own torque spec as well

28-32 Ft Lbs is stock

I believe ARP is same as stock, although some people say its as much as 40 Ft Lbs. Id check the paper it came with.

If you dont have it call ARP or check their website. Im trying to remember but i think they torque the same as stock

they are just High grade, you torque them to the same factory car specsNo sir. You do that, and you have a chance of the bolt breaking. The tensile strength of arp bolts and studs are much higher than any factory fastener, therefore require a higher torque. The torque is 43 ft/lbs for that particular bolt.

According to Eagle the 3/8 ARP 2000 has a max torque of 43lbs make sure the are the 3/8 and not the 5/16 this measurement is of the bolt shaft and not the bolt head. If you have the 5/16 the torque is 28lbs
