I didnt really know where to post this but I am looking at putting a remote start on a 2003 VW passat. However i keep hearing that its impossible because of the immobolizer system and if you try to bypass it, you will have worse problems. It already has an aftermarket security system on it. Does anyone know it already having an aftermarket system on it effect the immobolizer feature and make it to where you dont have to worry about it? Or would it still have to be bypassed?
