i think i read somewhere that they're more for looks....rather than the s. tech.

Supposebly H. tech is more for "handling" while S. tech is more for "show." Either way, they suck. If you're going with Tein, get the full coilovers.

I'm sure you wouldn't want bounciness either. Eibach is what I would suggest. Go with the Pro-kit.

i got about $300, what would be the best springs i could get? I dont need new struts, I only have about 150 miles on the tC

htechs dont drop much, stechs are a little more agressive looking. totally up to you.

i would pass on the htechs though cause you wont see much of a diff, if any at all.

Tein have way better spring rates than the eibach's, go with the Tein S Tech because the H Tech barely drop it an inch. The S Tech's drop it like an inch and a half or more.

I just bought a set of Hotchkis. Can't wait until I get 'em on. I had S-techs before the Hotchkis, but they were going to be too low for downtown driving.

I'd go for s techs, its a decent drop. Just make sure you don't get one of the fake sets of teins going around. The fake ones are absolutely crap.

the h-tech is suppose to be more comfortable. If you want it to be lower, stech.

No stechs ride just like stock but throw them into a corner and the handling goes up 100000000 points lol. i had them on my tC and took it to a track and the car drove beautifully S-Techs>all other springs

put it this way then, other than the s-techs you had on your tC, what else have you tried?

thats what i thought :D

i run stechs, but im definately not going to go out on a limb and say that they > all other springs.

Lol, look at the mixed reviews. Maybe some like it, maybe some don't. But I don't think anyone would say that Eibach sucks (except maybe the height). They're not rated number one springs for nothing. And in case you didn't know. Tein S.techs are meant only for show. They are bouncy as f*ck.

s-techs specifically are not made to handle well. they are designed for "Style" hence the S.

if you think s-techs are good handling springs....you haven't really driven with a good suspension
