If by intercooler you mean the oil cooler. I don't agree. That's part of the package. Boso style man. It's not meant to be subtle, it's mean to be over the top.

Actually, you are correct. 1JZ.

"Well.. this is the new daily driver that I have been building. It consists of a 1JZ, MX73 IRS with crossmember/frame grafted to the existing frame. V-notched the frame, etc etc... R-154 tranny, full custom air ride with 2500 series bags up front and 2800's in the back. Lays frame, floorboard and pinch weld.

It is currently running 1 bar of boost, so.... cheeea! From wiring it headlight to taillight, making the JDM round gauges work, and finishing every other aspect of the car, I would say this is yet another Old Series GARAGE successful build."

IMO it would be way nicer with fresh paint, the oil cooler lines not sticking out so much and rather then using a 2J, i wanna see someone swap a i-Force (if you want to stay with Toyota motors) V8 into something small like that.

nah man. some things can get away with lookin rough, and that car pulls it off very well. some bagged theme trucks pull it off very well along with lots of rods. it's just a certain style. shiny wheels, shiny motor, shiny grill and bumpers, and dull/faded paint.
