Anyone on here familiar with them? I'm sure someone is, just wanted to ask a few questions. I just got a 1969 1600 with a 1970ish 2.0l that was rebuilt with 2-3k miles. The car hasn't ran in awhile and needs brakes and a new carb, but it's all there. Straight body with rust in trunk deck and a replacement deck for it. Four speed car with buckets. I'm going to put some pictures up in the Car Pics section tomorrow and maybe I a little info on what I plan on doing with it.:goodjob:

Got any good suggestions on where to get parts?

Ebay is scarce and I found a few other sites that want an arm and a leg more than I want to pay haha.

I see a lot of them still. Just finished a 2002tii rebuild at our shop. A good friend of mine is trying to take over the market. He has over 35 of them. Including an original turbo model he just got from cali. What ever 2002 stuff or 3.0 stuff you need I'm happy to try to help. I even have the BMW OEM shop guide for them with the wiring diagrams and all.

Thanks for the post but I think I might be selling it and moving on to something a little newer. If you know anyone interested feel free to PM me. I'm not sure if I'm going to post it on IA just because nobody seems interested.
