what is this part called i know it is for the heater but not sure on what it is called and if anyone one forsale let me know

looks like a water jacket yeah i broke one of those too on my old ls trying to bleed the system its crazy how easy they snap off

Only half right. Evasive was right in his intial post. That is the heater control valve. It controls the flow of coolant into the heater core and allows you to have heat inside the cabin. When the valve is closed, no coolant flow to the heater core and thus no heat transfer.

It controls the blinker fluid. It opens the valve to turn on your blinker.

No, it's a Kanuter valve! It controls the lubrication to the firewall gasket!

Damnit, I thought that was what controlled the vtec fluid flowing through the Very Tall Engine Coolant neck into the radiator causing the rear wheels to push...thus producing VTEC...
