depends on a lot of factors. the type of tire you run, its tread wear, the amount of camber you'll have, they way you drive, tire inflation....etc... Just do it right and get a camber kit and put it on when you get your suspension installed.

Don't buy off brand suspension products, get the real thing like blox, skunk 2, omni power and ingalls.

^^ yups... those brands are cool.... but 1.7 inch isnt much to kill your tires. i have some cooooopers tucking tires and scrubbing for 4 months, maybe.. they looook brand new. it's still even. lol

With good alignment I do not see 1.7 as being a problem. Toe is much more damaging to tires.

naw he should get a camber kit while at it.....the camber will make him run through tires. y not stop it before it starts...

screw the camber it, its worthless.

what most people dont know is that its the toe that eats away tires, not camber.

take your car to a good alignment shop and get the toe zeroed out. dont buy into the whole camber kit bs.

well i know from experience that my car ate through tires, until i got a camber kit installed

i'd definitely do it, i wish i had done it from the beginning.

I have been anywhere from stock height to slammed with -3 camber, same wear with proper alignment. Only my experience.

yeah, i have more camber in my front wheels, than my rear wheels.
and more than most people have in their rear wheels

camber is your friend.

you can
me and a guy actually cut, angled and reweled the rear shafts to make his A32 camber....

Toe is the main problem with tire wear. Some negative camber is actually good for handling because when you turn more tread of the tire touches the ground

yeah 1.7 really isn't gunna affect camber much... however negative camber can cause extra wear because the weight of the car is resting on a smaller portion of the tire causing more stress on that area, rather than distributing the weight evenly across the entire surface area of the tire.... but personally, i love about -4 degrees of camber and don't give a damn if my tires suffer
