[Dirty Octopus™]

After months and months of trying to align schedules I finally had the honor of meeting Glides. And boy I couldn't have been happier. :D

This car was so beautiful that i spent more time gawking at its radiance rather than concentrating on capturing it.

These pictures do nothing near what they should for a car so fabulous. But I hope to at least give you a little feel of how awesome it is.

The story from the guy who sold it to me.

Salim was stationed in Okinawa. Drove a Corolla over there and decided that's what he wanted when he got back. He went and bought the kit, the gauges, the exhaust, some interior stuffs and then went to the factory and ordered the wheels right after they stopped making them. They made them up for him and he started looking for a chassis.

He found in in Washington. Bought it sight unseen and had it shipped to Florida where XAT Racing did the swap. XAT won't admit to it cause it looks kinda janky but that's who did it. It's the weak point vidual wise on the car and it's getting fixed. Either way, it's fast as a fat girl racing for crab legs at the Super Grand Buffet so I don't care.

He then had it painted. It quit running and he got called away to Iraq. I bought the car then. So the wheels are not restored, never curbed, no scratches and are in perfect shape. As is most everything on the car including the underside. After I got it, I piddled with it and finally broke down and took it to the wonderful people at Batlground and they tuned it (still need my MS settings, if you can email em to me, hotness, I forgot to get em) and it's been amazing ever since.

Depends. I'm actually socking some money back for some Sakura Cherry Blossoms. If I have the car when I get within reach of them, i'll buy em, sell the Longchamps and roll pink style. They are high though, round $800 per wheel but they are oh so clean.
