Nick, not sure if you remember. Im the dude with the spiky hair from last night.
Dude, like I told you last night, any blow off valve is simple to install. While im at it, I would buy a catback exhaust. Since you're still trying to keep your warranty, I would go with the Mazdaspeed Catback, im sure it works just as fine. As long as its a 3". If you want to hear the turbo spool up, all you need is an intake for that.
For all the people that are not going to give any advice, might as well not even reply. He's new at this, give him a break!!

dont they come with BOV? i know a protege that has a SICK BOV and i think he told me it was stock, or maybe it was mazdaspeed idk
BTW: blow off valves release the extra unused pressure created by the turbo so it doesnt flow backwards towards the turbo and cause compressor surge
^^ definition of run-on sentence.

the mazdaspeed3/6 come with bpv's if all you want is the pressure release sound you could just buy an intake. its not as loud as a bov but it sounds good. if think your ****ty stock bpv is leaking, which it could be its plastic you could buy one of many, most of them need an adapter but a few dont. forge and turbo xs makes a bov and a bpv that you dont need an adapter.
http://mazda3online.web.aplus.net/index.php?cPath=281_160 protege garage is a great place, they offer an HKS SSQ v2 bov that doesn't need and adapter. if you want the best of both worlds the turbosmart below is awesome.

well the car makes around 15 psi of boost stock and its quite fast so i just want the sound to go with it.
no dude dont do it, like Maniac said buy a short ram intake that would do the job, why im I telling u this b/c im runing an hks ssq bov and im runing rich as fock like shooting flames out the ass rich so if u do it is going to affect ur performance i use to run a turbo xs bov (dont get this) and i was only holding 12-13 psi really gay with the hks im holding 15-16 hopefully my recirculation kit is going to fix the popin just waiting to get here any who... dont do it ur car would run like shiot

i thought that mazdaspeed 3s came with a 3" turboback? from the factory? Lets put this way, nice and simple.
The Mazdaspeed 3 is just like every other boosted factory car, nothing speical. The Evo, STi, Mazdaspeed 6, ect. come with a 2.5 inch exhaust tubing. The Mazdaspeed catback, will come 3", if im not mistaken. Just like Subaru uses SPT products Mazda uses Mazdaspeed. With an intake, bov, and exhaust he should have all that he's looking for. Sound, and very small diffrence in performance.
