I've had this happen one too many times, and it's really annoying. I'll give you a good example of what happened tonight. I was on my way home tonight and I had to stop at an intersection for a red light. A silver E36 M3 goes across the intersection and I catch him eyeballing me. No big deal.

Fast forward about a couple miles later, the road he was on dumps right onto the main road I was going on. I saw him approaching the intersection and I just went past him. I saw him get on it and start catching up to me. I had to stop for another light and he gets next to me. I didn't bother looking over because I didn't want any trouble or get into any races. The light turns green and he starts to take off then slow down. I casually go and he gets along side of me and I just kept speeding up and he would do the same. As I'm approaching the turn to go home, I put on my blinker and he immediately gets on my ass. I slow down, make the turn and casually once again just go. He gets on my ass big time and won't leave me alone. I brake checked him and he just makes a U-turn to go back on the main highway.

This **** happens all the time. I don't need someone to impress me with their car. If I see a nice car, I'm nice enough to give a thumbs up. If you are going to act like a total prick, I will ignore you. I don't know why people think just because you are trying to race that I will give in.

Grow up and drive like a normal person! I'm tired of this crap! I would think someone with an M3 would have some class. I would expect this behavior from a Civic or Integra with a double-stacker wing. No offense to you Civic/Teggy guys who actually drive with courtesy. :2up:

Yea your right, I just can't get enough of street racing.
Think about it, you drive a car ricers LOVE and obsess with. Get over it.

Well I've found that if you just smile and wave at people when they try to race you, and continue to drive normally they'll leave you alone.

If you drive normally but don't acknowledge the ricer, he's going to think you haven't noticed him, and thus continue pestering you.

For some reason driving the S2K just makes this **** happen naturally. I really don't know what it is, but I never get as much foolish racer behavior from other drivers when I'm driving my Civic (which is just as fast as the S2K, but currently handles better). And its not as much from ricers as it is from 17 year-olds in cars that they don't deserve, like E36 M3s for instance. Most of the time I lead those kids into speed traps, then break fast in the right lane and watch them fly by, which is soon followed by flashing lights. Occasionally I'll keep the revs high through 1st and 2nd, then redline 3rd (usually on hwy ramp by then), and by the time I would hit vtec in 4th, they are already so far back that its sad. The one thing I never do is drag race, which is what the cops are on the lookout for anyway around here.
