Maintenance Required light on a 2001 Acura Integra GSR

Can anyone help me turn this damn light off? I just changed the oil so I just need it reset.

I've researched some threads on here, but everything I've tried hasn't worked yet. +Reps to anyone that can help me out. Thanks!

have u tried the key on, and there is a square button under the steering that u hold for a couple of second till the maintenance light goes out?

have you called the acura dealer and talked to the shop they could tell you

you have the owner's manual? there is suppose to be a small button on the lower dash under the steering wheel that you hold while the key is in. Move the key to on position but don't need to start it. hold the button and it will turn off the light.

They weren't open on Sunday.

The guy I bought the car from didn't have the owner's manual. I'll check out the button to see if it's there. Like I said, it was dark last night.

its a small button and hard to find if you dont know where to look i have a 99 gsr and the light comes on every 3500-4000 miles maintenace done or not.

The maintenance light would come on anyways. If you are lazy, you can leave it. It will not hurt anything. And like other members says, you will find that little button to turn it off.

theres a button under the dash. its hard to find, so you will need a flashlight. turn the key, then Hold it down until the light goes off.

slide you left hand straight down the steering column until you reach the bottem of the dash. with your fingers facing up move about two inches to the right you will feel a small box with a square button, hold this button down wile turning the key to the on position keep holding the button until the light goes out.

That light is programmed to come on regardless of if maintenace was done or not.
