So I was going home and I saw a cop filing up his cop car and smoking a cig..hmm I bet if I was doing the same he would have said something to me.. Its like they think they are above the law. I also have never seen a cop with a seatbelt on.

You guys are asses, the whole point if you read was that cops think they are above the law and do not have to obey the rules they expect us to obey.

id like to add to the rant! cops can say some random person did something and in court they cop's word is greater then the citizen he is supposed to be protecting... meh, speeding tickets suck...

With the Stage II vapor recovery systems in place in the metro area and 13 surrounding counties, it is relatively safe for the cop to smoke while filling his car up. Knowledge is power.

but then if a young-ish kid who drives an import does the same thing, the cop most likely would say he is indangering lives.... just to get a bigger paycheck....:tongue1:

ok i say this all the time i mean i dont like this any more than you do but they do have a higher word than us we cant do **** but be informed and beat them at their own game, sometimes we win sometimes we lose. know your laws to the letter know what you can and cant do and definitely C.Y.A ( cover your ass). Its about all you can do. I've seen some **** between dj'in house parties for three years and driving something other than my old mazda within the past two years since i seriously got into tuning cars. Other than that dont speed. i mean dats kinda why im lookin into two cars one for daily drivin with slight mods and just one made for the track and hopefully soon a road course. there is a time and a place yo. Yeah theyr'e asses i've had my car broken into twice and they did ****, my ex get her credit card stolen and nothing ever turned up. point is we know they suck there are some nice ones out there but just like everything else out there its going to be a few retards with **** else to do who are goin to make the whole force look like jerks. Kinda like ricers and racing, government officials, and even race card toting morons. we know they're there, we hate em, they ruin **** yet they're a part of the scene whether we like it or not. so suck it up junior and deal with it or know your foe, or just get a damn good lawyer.

well if good lawyers werent so damn expensive then we would be fine.... but seeing as we on IA put most of our paychecks into our cars(either gas or new shinny parts) we cant afford a good lawyer...
P.S. also, the driving law in ga have had a good amount of change in the last year(****ing josh's law) so old tricks and loopholes are not gonna work...

see i wish i knew where to look up the laws since they change so frequently like a site or something. I'd have that **** bookmarked and yea thats true about the expensive side of it. Two of my friends are studying to be lawyers and a third knows a decent ammount about the georgia system so i usually ask them first

cigarettes cannot light gasoline. congratulations. i work at qt and smoke next to the pumps all day. even next to the fuel delivery truck and make all the dumbasses nervous.
fortunately i played with fire a lot when i was younger, and lit cigarettes simply will not ignite gasoline. try it sometime.
when arnold schwarzenegger throws a lit cig at a pool of gasoline to some guy and says 'sionara mother****er'-just remember, its only a movie. it is fake.

What people do NOT know is that although cigarettes can't light the gas itself, it CAN ignite the fumes from the petro. Later, QD.

Why is that whenever I read these threads, I imagine these are the same kids who go to court wearing jeans as there dress pants, timberlands as there dress shoes, some button up shirt as there dress shirt, a weak ass mustache that looks like trash, and half bleached hair gelled forward.

My mom and I were coming home at one in the morning. A road block was set up to check for seat belts. My mom took too long finding her lisence in her purse and the cop was a complete **** asking her what she was doing out so late, had she been drinking. The next day the cop died in a collision because he wasnt wearing a seat belt

x2. I know what your talking about.
Yesterday a cop followed my bf almost 20 miles down 316 and into his neighborhood. And yes, cops ARE stereotypical on the car. My dad is friends with many cops, and one told him that he hates low rider trucks. And whenever he sees them use their airbags, he pulls them over, and he watches them more than any other car.

, he pulls them over,
You dumb ****ing trick. You don't know ****, do you? I'll let you in on a little known secret that cops don't want you to know so that you'll think they are stereotyping you. It is illegal to use airbags on roadways. HOLY ****!!! Did I just type that out loud? Later, QD.

Never had a problem with cops... I've gotten lots of tickets, but I deserved them all.
I've gotten pulled over once coming home from work at 1am because my license plate lights were out. I was on a SUSPENDED LICENSE, and all the cop did was tell me to fix the lights and not to drive anymore when I got home. WTF!?!?!
