i have 195/50/15 on ls mesh...and just wondering how wide can i go on this stock rims??? the wider the better traction correct??? i kno 205 would be good can i go more???

You'll be able to get a set of these easily under there on your factory wheels.

Seriously, barring any fitment problems, the widest to safely go would be around 225/60-15. Later, QD.

i did see a set of 225/50/15 on a ls mesh wheel.

incorrect on all accounts

a wider tire does not ALWAYS mean more traction
in a straight line, it does in a way
but when you turn, a wider cheap tire will cause worse handling in a turn, becuase hte sidewall stiffness is lower, thana higher end tire.
so when you turn, you have to wait for the tire to flex as much as it has to, then transfer the car to the turn.(**** i cant explain it better right now)

so no, wider tire is not always better
