does that alpine come with the brain?

It doesn't need/have a brain. It is just a screen with a 45x4 mosfet amp, stereo radio, and aux imputs so you can watch/listen to auxilirary* units. Thats is it. No navi or anything like that but it works great and sounds good.

yes I still have them, and the varsity is about 1/2 way between Duluth and Dallas. The speakers still sound excellent. :goodjob:
