I'm so sad. I just got off the phone with my mom - my grandma does have cancer - she didn't have a stroke like we thought. She is not doing well at all and it is soo hard to see her like this! I've never had grandparents until the past few years and now that I'm loving having them around, they are getting sick......

that sux, cancer sux, i believe more than 1/2 of the us population will see some form of cancer in there future (i read that somewhere)

my grandfather died of it and my uncle has it now

i work for AFLAC and we deal with cancer insurance....to be honest, we have alot of people who survive cancer, alot of advances and medication for it these days, i hope your grandma gets better

Have never been close to any of my grandparents. Regaurdless, losing someone you care for sucks big time.

thanks everyone. she won't let us see her, she says once she comes to terms with it, then we can see her. they say the cancer is in the very early stages which is good and she is already having chemo. i just feel bad. she is soo weak and can hardly walk. its crazy - up until about 2 weeks ago she was so healthy and then it just hit.

yeah this sucks...the first real grandparents we've ever had...and theyre awesome...its so hard to see her sick
