Has a lot of potential. Interiort reminds me of Scotland.

I assume the lighting will be D2S HID?

It looks like an SI , which is gross. the seats look like they would be supportive but they also look like shit in cloth, as most seats do. Im sure that it has the same potental as the 1.8T so im my book its a great car :)

Looks pretty good. Something about the headlights looks funny though. Interior would look better without the plaid seats. Sounds pretty quick too

i haven't seen one in person yet but it wouldn't think the plaid interior would be making a comeback here in the states :D ,but either way those factory recaros are PIMP

The front has got to go. Too "in your face" IMO. The seats look really cool, cloth not so hot but I've seen worse. The instrumentation reminds me of the Passat's, which isn't bad IMO.

The front is the biggest turn-off to me honestly. The rest is fine.

Personally, I like this kind of VW the best:

Got it bubba, but I'm just saying that I like that look better than the Mark V.

BTW, I TIVO "Tuner Challenge" on Speed and one of the cars that the teams is modding is a Mark V. The other two are a Skyline  and a Cobalt. It's actually a pretty cool show because they aren't doing just ricey crap to the cars.

Paul- The motor is a 1.8t. The car started out identical to the one you posted in the first post. They too thought the front nose was not too cool. They did this custom mesh/grill thing. I didn't think it was so hot, but it was better than stock. They also added a body kit and did some kind of headlight mod on the last show. They haven't really dove into the motor/performance side of things just yet.

The show is a competition between three different teams from across the country. It kinda highlights how each team super mods each car with the idea that when all are done they will put them up against each other head-to-head. They are supposed to compete in raw HP numbers, interior, and exterior. The freaking Cobalt has a cage and is being painted from the frame up. Chevy supplied them with a raw shell (totally unpainted) to start with. XS Engineering is doing the Skyline (which is TT BTW ;) ) and Team Chevy is doing the Cobalt of course, but I forget what the name of the guys doing the VW.

He's talking about the MK4 that I posted, the gray one. ;)

To be honest Paul, I don't remember if his was a VR6 or not. I know his instrument cluster was European style with a KM/H Speedo and all. The fenders were true widebody molded and not just rolled too. The car was pimp IMO.
