the bumper came in today got it off ebay.
The back bumper I've had for a few months just waiting to install with the stock front.
Only problem is I cant put my muffler on so my car is loud as hell.

I got the seats at NOPI this year and built/moded the stock crx sliders to work with them.

MUCH better! I hate rice and it's nice to see a Honda gonig away from it. If only there were more people like you who have the balls to even buy these ricers to take on the challenge of making them respectable. Especially at the inflated prices these ricers add on because they think their mods add value. I've always said ricers like that should be destroyed but I guess you can make them decent after all.

got the side skirts in today and there painted and installed. Still need stock fenders so I can put the mini skirts on and then I will be fiberglass free.

Funny thing happened on the way back from lowes. The turn down I was using to keep the exhaust off my rear control are came lose and almost fell off. LOL it was cool because I was flying and it started shooting sparks out from under the car and probley freaked out the guy that was chashing me. (having a little fun with a red civic :police:)

Got the rear bumper off of a member on IA.
Front bumper and lip are from Ebay.
Rims were ebay.
seats were nopi.
most parts are from ebay.

Also mounted a volt gauge in the dash. It looks alot better in person I just dont want to drill any holes in my dash and it fit pretty good in that hole.

Also on the way home from cactusEG house my fog lights and running lights went out and this morning I found out why. When doing a wire tuck make sure you ziptie the wire lomb so it want work its way off the wires and let the wires touch the metel eges. Shorted the wires and blew some fuses but its fixed now.

Also the exhaust will be here tuesday:bannana:

Exhaust is installed and WOW its quiet! :yes: I like it. I can acually think while I drive instead of having a head ach the hole time.

I love the look and the fit is OK I will need to trim one of the pipes to get it to sit strait. Also I have to get the flange welded up to stop a small exhaust leak.

Not bad I give the Flowmaster axle back a 9/10.:ninja: because its already flat black.

Well I developed a loud bang noice from my exhaust when I start my car. Found out the flowmaster exhaust was pulling the rest of my aftermarket exhaust towds the drivers side and one of the flanges was hilling the floor pan. Easy fix. I cut 1 1/2 in out of the flowmaster exhaust where it slides into the muffler and done. The hangers now line up and the bang has stoped. Still need about a 1/2 in more cut out to get the tip to sit center in the bumper but whatever.

Got to go for a ride with it and damn its quiet. almost to quiet(i'm use to the strait pipe now:no:) But it has a nice deep rumble to it(you know a 4 bannger rumble)

9/10 on the flowmaster still. I want to put some miles on it and then see how I like it and the test will be tomarrow night. From gainesville to the V and back.

Sorry no new pics but got some stock fenders and I'm curently trying to save them:thinking: Not going to well right now. There alittle rough but I got to try.
I'm trying to smoth out a bad dent/crease on the drivers side and pull a large dent with no creases out with no luck so far. :doh:should of just bought new ones, o well to late now.

I was to tired to work on it today so I'll take some pics of it tomarrow and get some work done. I hope...

Yup, it's the EF Squad Holiday dinner....check the Ef Squad section for more details

and DO's headlights will work i blieve, but the rex corners and hatch corners are different....you'd have to cut the rec corners up a little bit to make them fit...

leave the halo's homie, my dad's got em and then look sick at night. amber corner light bulbs and that blue ring, looks sick at night!

Well after a hour of work and no luck I figured out why my car wouldn't start.

The set screw came out of the rotor and no spark. LOL i love my car...

i like the black wheels that are on it now.....nice job de-ricing, i had to do the same thing with my accord, i did a lot..lot of stupid **** to it, had to take it all off now it is sleeper. looks great dude. If you want some nice looking wheels go with some civic si wheels 96 or so.

kind of a update.


My clutch is no more. So for the 2nd time since I bought the crx I've got to change it.

The first clutch I put in was a stage 3 unsrung hub and I now regret that.

The new one is a stage 1 sprung hub and I'm also going to install a lightwight flywheel too.

day one started fine. I was on a role and got the hole front off my car.
cross member off
radator off
trans fuild drained
lower strut bar off
all random wires and plugs off or unpluged
car in the air with no tires

then I got stuck Lets put it this way I bent my hammer trying to get the lower ball joints to let go. With no luck

I still have to get the
ball joints apart
axels out
motor mounts off
the trans out
the clutch and flywheel off

then it will be time to put it back together. The problem with this is I need the tools, oil and antifreez to finish.:(

Well got my new motor today only had to drive 500+/- miles round trip to get it. but it was well worth it and I only used a 1.5 tanks of gas. God I love my Honda.

Well got my engine hoist yesterday. Took me 2 dang hours to put it togerther but I'm happy. If anyone is going to go buy one go to advance auto I got this one for $177 + 35 for the leveler. All the othr ones were $200 - $250 just for the lift.

swaps not going to well. broke a bolt off in the block that holds the water pump on so thats f**ked up. Broke $15 in bits and bolt extractors and its still stuck. Rigged it up so hopefully it will hold. got some wiring done and the clutch, flywheel and trans switched over and cleaned. Also the bung for my O2 senser on my 4-2-1 header is striped out so I'll be running the stock manifold.

Little update on my rex. Got the clutch delivered today now I got to put it all back together.:no:

Also got the vary first part of my turbo setup today. And installed it, still have some thing that need to be installed and wired up. Not much but everything counts.
