the Z was obviuosly in neutral revving his engine giving the "sound" that he was racing.

in actuality if a Z or G raced a cobalt SS it wuold look like the SS was in neutral.:rolleyes:

I call BS. I ran a few 350 in my Old TT and beat most of the ones I ran w/ same HP which was around 230-240 .. Usually pulled 1/2 a car to 1 car.. did loose to Speedmonkey 350 though..

I raced several Cobalts and always pulled a bus on them, No lie. Matter of fact raced a yellow cobalt about a month ago and pulled about 3 cars right of the roll.. lol

once i get my clutch back in man, i'll run ya. I just recently pulled my blower off to start another project.

I raced a gm stage 2 with a intake from a roll and put over a car on him with just test pipes, plenum spacer and y pipe. Now i have test pipes, full exhaust, headers, clutch, spacer and a drop in filter. I couldn't get any ss/sc cars to race when i had the vortech on though.

Fact is that the 350Z's are great looking cars but in todays market they are one of the slowest performace cars that you can buy being beat by, mustangs, camaros, STi's, Evo's, corvettes, all of the Dodge/Chrysler SRT models,WS6's,M3's, basically everything in it's class with the exception of the RX8 which is just a joke.

And don't come back with the mod this and mod that because hell you can mod out anything and make it fast. I'm saying as a platform for a drag car I think that they suck. They weigh as much as a full size V8 car but make less power and don't take to mods as well.

thats fine you are not hurting my feelings, im just saying if i wanted a hot rod that went fast in a staight line, got bad gas millage, and wasnt worth **** after 100k miles than i would have got a camaro, Ws6, Trans am, Gto. if i wanted to drive a four door car with ****ty interior and worry about drivetrain problems all the time than i would have got an STI, or an EVO. If i wanted to pay 55k for a car than i could have got a vette or a m3. I just wanted a nice sports car that was gay, had nice interior, got good gas milliage, and was reasonably priced. thats all.

?...Evo 8's trap 101-103 from my expierence? 350z HR's can trap 107 stock, while bolt on 03-05's and rev-ups can be faster. I don't see what's unbelievable about that. Now if he's "light modded" like intake/exhaust and he's an 03, then b.s.

i've ran both a 350z and a cobalt with my s2k and pulled on them both but i think the 350z will pull the cobalt judging from my own experiance the cobalt is slow on top end and 350z get more power on top

yeah he pulled on me by like 2.5 cars doing40 rolls. one of my friends has a 2007 ss sc with the same mods as me plus a stage two and a 2.9 inch pulley and he pulls on modded 350z's by like almost two cars. ill see if i still have the video

to tell you the truth i had a cobalt ss and i beat a 350z and a g35, all i had was a pulley upgrade. cobalts are rated at 205hp and most of them dyno at 220 stock. i also beat 2 different s2000 from a dig when i was stock. the AT 350z runs a 14.1 in the 1/4 and the cobalt runs a 14.4. they are not off by that much. the MT 350z runs 13.7 so a stock cobalt shouldnt beat it but im sure that they can.

If you only have cat-back then you raced a seriously slow e36 M3 unless you have an HR. I was pulled 3/4ths car from GirlieZ's, then one car the second time from 40/45-125. This outcome is similar for me with Z's with 255+ whp. I have exhaust/flywheel (almost stock), she has everything but cams + good tune. SOgood is stock + dinan exhaust.

The m3 only had catback is what i ment but this is the video. The camera car is my buddies 350z and he had a passenger (which is why him and the m3 where neck and neck). The first race is me and the other 350z messing around with me in 4th gear and him in 3rd. the rest is pretty self explanatory. If you want to meet up and run im down just pm me

Yeah man, he's a pretty awful driver. From digs it's just embarassing, lol. He always launches wayy too high and ends up just spinning all through 1st and 2nd.

Selling the wheels 'cause I'm tired of them, and I'm buying a set of 3piece AC Schnitzer racing wheels here soon. I'll have some $ left over, which = more performance mods.

Haha. I know whats thats like. If you remember Evan from the Mt. run in my car..he has a D15a with a T3/To4 and a nice ass tune. Prob. one of the cleanest civics around and ran even with high 13's cars on 8lbs and even with low 13's, high 12's cars on 12lbs.
