Well boys, here's the situation:

lady at work has a burgandy 1990 4 door civic. it's got 230,XXX miles, 5 speed, and she says there's nothing wrong w/ it, runs like a champ (typical honda).

The car is burdgandy, with burgandy interior. the car has a few digs, and has a set of wheels on it (might be sum chrome wheels :D).

Anyway, the lady wants $300 for it.... now, could i not easily buy it for 300, and then turn around and sell it $1,000.....

i'll be posting pictures on thursday.

Yes. If you do it right, you can make a small profit.
My dad and I do this all the time.
Buy it, clean it up, do a complete tune-up, and then sell it for a profit. (Just make sure there is no frame damage and all that wonderful jazz.)

On here it might be hard to find a buyer, but your best bet is to find someone that needs a first car. (And then they can join the Squad. Its a win-win for everyone.:goodjob:)

lol, i'd throw that biitch up on auto trader in a quick minute, thats for sure.

i'm sure there's no frame dammage. i've only seen the car once, and it looked aiight.

i'm just wondering if i could get a grand out of it pretty easily...

^^ thats what i was thinking, i figured i could sell it really quick, for pretty cheap.

but only problem is, i told my buddy about it, and the idea has been tossed that we should go half on it and split the profits.

w/e, i'ma look @ it thursday. if worse comes to worse and i buy it for $150 (split two ways), i'm pretty sure i could turn around and sell it for $500....

I would say it really depends on the condition. If the car looks good, i.e. the paints not faded to crap, then you should be able to flip it.

I'd post it up on Craigslist, too, if you decide to buy it and sell it.
