Ok this is what happened. I was driving the hell out of my car, shifted into 3rd, it made a high pitched grinding noise. It wouldn't go back in gear until the RPM's dropped significantly. Ever since that, every gear is that way. It has got to the point that it's hard to get it out of gear at times. I occasionally have to shut off the car, put it in 1st gear, start up the car, then drive off. BUT, almost everytime I do that, the car tries to start moving itself like the clutch (http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327373#) isn't completely disengaged.

I have been told this. Bad slave cylinder, the fork isn't moving far enough. It should move ATLEAST one inch. Ok, I bought a new slave cylinder, didn't help at all. Everything was done as it should, removal, installation, bleeding the air from the lines, everything. Ok, so I got someone to press the clutch pedal (http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327373#) while I move the boot on the slave cylinder and watch the travel of my fork. Well, it seems to be moving just over 1/2". I would take an educated guess and say 5/8".

Second thing I was told, I was told that part of my clutch had broken, or one of the springs has broked off, and I need to buy a new clutch kit (http://www.superhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327373#). I'm not sure, it was unclear what I was told.

The really bad news: I HAVE to drive my car to work as well as to school. I can't borrow anyones car, I only have this car. I'm pretty much screwed until it's fixed. Any help greatly appreciated.

did u buy an aftermarket slave or OEM? i had replaced my master and slave cylinder with aftermarket ones..still leaked.had to call honda for the real deal.
My suggestion is,if u say its not engaging or disingating, adjust the pedal and the hookup inside the car.where the pedal hooks up to the cylinder from the inside.maybe that can shorten or w/e it needs to be.
also to see if u need a clutch then shift into 5th gear and try to go..if it dosnt stall then you need a new one.
but try the pedal adjustment 1st!

Ok, can you be a little more specific on the pedal adjustment? I'm not very inclined on the drivetrain and it's corrosponding parts. Thanks.

EDIT: I looked at where my clutch master cylinder shaft thing goes into the master cylinder, it's leaking ALOT of grimey brake fluid running out slowly. I'm going to buy a new one tomorrow and see if it works.

im going from watching the guy from mr transmission...but he got under there and were the pedal arm connects to the firewall there should be sum bolts/screws and can be adjusted to make the pedal "ferm" as he told me

*my issue was,i was loosing prime in my clutch and i kept having to pump it back upover n over.* but still his adjustment on the pedal made it ferm for 2mins till it leaked out again.lol sorry its not to helpful but helps a lil to look into the right direction

seems as if you might have bent your pressure plate, but for ****s and giggles, look under your dash where the master cylinder comes through the firewall, look at the cyliner and see if its wet or has a leak. That is one way to see if the master cyl may need to be replaced.

Yea man, I checked earlier, it's soaked. I've already ordered a new one from AutoZone, the old one is out. Tomorrow I pray to be riding again. I'll keep you all posted. Thank you guys so much.

Good luck with the install, make sure you bleed it properly. If the problem still occures you may have an oil soaked cluth disc which is swollen. I hope it is just the hydrolics

After installing the new master cylinder, the pedal is super tight and the clutch engages and disengages properly while the car isn't in motion. BUT! Same ****, while driving, I have to let the RPM's drop before it will go into gear. Annoying ****, so, I guess I'm going to get a Competition Clutch stage 3 clutch kit in a couple of weeks. If it lasts that long.

stage 3 sucks for daily driving i had one and it will wear your leg out on daily commutes! so unless your drag racing i would go with stage 1.

just to let you know because i drive an hour one way to work in atl traffic

stage 3 will suck your ballz off if you drive it a lot.

my car acts like it has a stage 2 or 3 (not real sure what it has for sure, i think i just have some issues) but it really makes for an interesting time.

sorry i dont have anymore interesting information for you but i would do something else before a stage 3 clutch.

Thanks for the input guys, but I took it all apart and found out that one of the springs had came off the clutch, and the others were on the verge. So, I put the Competition Clutch stag 3 clutch kit in, and I'm in love with it. Daily driven kicks ass. I haven't had any problems with leg pains lol.
