I'm home sick :(

I'm not really sure how long we have been gone. I am so home sick. I miss my kitties, my chinnies, my gerbils, my bed, my couch, my Mike and Brandon. At least I still have Dan. The desert sucks! It looks like a big pile of dirt. Only the rich people and golf course have grass. The only form of vegetation is some brown arse bushes and trees that look like stick piles and tumble weeds. My nose had been dry for weeks and my throat feels like it has never had an water. The only thing to do in the desert is go to casinos and that gets old after about a day.

We are finally on the way home, but it will be a few days before we get there. I had no idea it was even cold there yet since it was 80 the whole time we were gone.

/whining.

Take a drive through the Valley of Fire! It's beautiful and the road is long and empty.

Or just...come home. It's been pretty chilly, but over the past few days it's been kinda mild. It's going to stay around the 60s throughout the day...not bad at all. Mornings and evenings are cold though.

Drifting actually IS my thing ;) I happen to enjoy it whether I got a license or not. Golfing definitely IS NOT my thing. Way too boring, but thanks for the advice :)

Considering there were 3 other girls out there, all of which have been drifting at least twice as long as me and 2 of them just got their license at this event...I feel pretty good :) I have been drifting 2 years now. Hiromi has been drifting 6, Yoshie 4 and Verena 4. Verena didn't even get her license and scored lower than me...although she did awesome all day. Sometimes it's just not your day. All it takes is one good run on the right day. It just wasn't my day. My day will come...maybe it will take 2 more years or even 4. I don't care because I still get to do what I love.

P.S. I'll still be in NOPI :)

Only reason I left is I got priced out of the housing market for what I needed, thanks to all the people fleeing Cali. No grass = no lawn to mow.:goodjob:
