View Full Version : Power Mods k20/k24 swap?

well i was tould about the adapter and passenger side motor mount but what else would i need to put a k24a2 in a rsx type s?

its really not that bad. Change one motor mount, buy the adapator plate, and swap the intake manifold. You don't even have to remove the throttle body or anything like that, just swap it all at once. Do it with the engine out of the car. The whole thing is as simple as removing a couple of nuts, swapping the intakes, and putting the nuts back on. its easy. Everything else should be easy. I recommend putting in a new clutch while you have the engine out as well.

yeah i had 2 get a new flywheel cause the one in the car is a act prolite 8lbs and it was tearing up the trans. the car has had alot of problems since i bought it a year ago

It may be because of the clutch it have in :(

how did they flywheel mess up your tranny?? Maybe you can't drive.
