going to have to spend alot more than 600$ to turbo a car.the only decent thing on that ebay kit is maybe the cast manifold.and the SS oil line.lol
from what iv heard, most people say the ebay turbos will blow in no time, others say theve been running theres for 2+years.
but u still need-ecu,larger injectors, resistor box, gauges and other misc things for power,fuelpump.ect. and a good tune.

I have a d turbo and im only have a 255 fuel pump and 12:1 fmu. No ecu upgrade or tuning. Been running it for about 5 months and 5k miles. I would recommend gauges( boost and air/fuel) The return line you can get at a hardware store. Let me know if you got any other questions. I installed my own so i know a little about it.

He's right about the ebay kits. If you go with that id sell the turbo from it and buy another.

Look at my Avater..... That was a FULLY built d-series!! And I made 300whp and 238wtq at 15psi, but spent A HELL OF A LOT more than $600. You get what you pay for!!!! My setup was in the $5k-8k range. just for the motor build!
Oh if you plan on spending serious money make sure you get it sleeved!! 2 pics to show you how it looked in my EG:

that kit probably isn't that bad, but you have to be willing for the turbo to possibly be too large or crap out on you quick. you'll need injectors and a socketed/chipped ecu or socket/chip yours if it's obd1. tuning is key.
feel free to pm or call me if you have any questions.

Turbo is too big for a D series, buy the kit and sell the turbo an pick up a QUALITY unit like a Garrett T3.

With that particular turbo, you are going to start hitting boost at around 4000 rpm and probably not reach full boost till 4800. It really would make your car not much fun to drive on the streets with that kind of lag. The T4 housing is just too big for that engine. My best advice would be to get a bigger engine first and then worry about the turbo. Find a good deal on a H22 that needs rebuilding, throw some forged components in it and then turbo that!

how about you tell us at what time you would like to hit boost (what rpm) and we can suggest a turbo for you....

his right. sell urs and get a t25. need walbro, dsm fuel injectors(best 4 u), down pipe, get p28 ecu on ebay for 90-100 chromed chipped(best) i might have one, steel braided oil line about 5 feet long, a lot of fittings frow lowes or home depot. if want to do it urself it is a good way to learn, but if dont pm me. btw my friend has a smaller turbo 4 u, he might trade plus cash fro ur eaby one. pm me
