i worked at the one in alpharetta.. its an alright
I heard it was a horrible place to work for...I work in retail myself and can't figure out how they afford to have so many employee's on the floor...I returned something that was broken last Xmas and saw it put back out on the floor a few hours later when I returned to buy a last minute Xmas gift...they taped it up and had it out as OK...pretty messed up company if you ask me...and they are expensive! I bet they will be gone just like Incredible Universe bit the dust...

i work there sometimes for my company as a third party vendor... Frys can afford to have all those people out at once because they are paid commission based. When the store is hurting the employees are hurting, sometimes they are hurting BADD.... Its sad to see it like that but I guess thats how it works. Some employees make a killing. They get a "draw" or some sh!tty amount of $ they have allotted to them every x amount of days... They are "guaranteed" that.. i believe its like minimum wage or under... once they pass that in commission, they keep the difference after comission... if they don't reach it, they just take the "draw"- do that too much and they get fired.
especially this time of year, right at the wake of black friday, its deaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad .... but as soon as the holidays hit, its on like donkey kong.

ima a manager in training at Fry's.. Its not a bad place to work. An associate in our department takes home no less than $600 a weeks, and he is part time. Moving up in the chain does not take long either. I started off as an "Electronic Component Accessory Sales" then moved up to "Electronic Component Sales" and now im "Electronic Components Management Trainee", all in the time frame of six months.
